The Orchestra:

starring former members of ELO and ELO Part II

The Orchestra’s roots stretch back many years including the 70's and 80's with Electric Light Orchestra, the 90's with ELO Part II, and from 2001 to the present as The Orchestra. Delivering a continuing era of unparalleled symphonic rock, they are sure to be a crowd pleaser.

The Orchestra performs the great hits of Electric Light Orchestra including, “Evil Woman”, “Living Thing”, Don’t Bring Me Down”, “Strange Magic”, “Mr. Blue Sky”, Sweet Talkin’ Woman” and many more as well as hits from ELO Part 2 and tunes from their new CD, “No Rewind”.

Decoy

Decoy is a Midwest based group with a melodic pop/rock sound accompanied by soulful vocals, driving guitars and a funky back beat. Influences ranging from contemporary pop/rock,singer-songwriter to blues and classic rock give this quintet a unique musical identity. The band released its debut album, "Nothing to Lose" in January of 2010 and is currently touring the nation in efforts to spread its music. The Samantha Fish Blues Band

The Samantha Fish Blues Band is a Kansas City based three piece blues trio. The trio is made up of young blood guitar player/singer Samantha Fish, heavy hitters Paul Greenlease on bass and Daniel Montero on the drums. Relying heavily on soulful vocals and infectious grooves, The Samantha Fish Blues Band has already made a name for themselves in Kansas City, and is beginning to spread to blues clubs and festivals throughout the nation. Everette DeVan

Everette grew up in Pueblo, Colorado where he attended the Colorado Conservatory of Music. He came to Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 18 and has made this his home ever since.

He has been a featured Jazz Organist, well known locally, nationally and internationally for his long-standing contributions to the Jazz tradition.

He serves as the Chairman of the Board at The Greater Kansas City Mutual Musician’s Foundation, The Entertainment Coordinator and a valued member of the board of directors at The Swope Parkway Comprehensive Health Center Jazz Outreach Program and is on staff at the Kansas City, Kansas Community College, teaching Music Theory and History and conducting classes dealing with the business side of the music industry.

Everette DeVan

Millie Edwards

Millie Edwards is known around Kansas City as the tiny woman with the big voice. Her unique style, wide range and professional manner have endeared her to audiences, nationally d internationally. A regular on the Jazz and Blues circuit, she appears in the best clubs, on radio, television, Everette DeVan's "East of the Sun" CD and Greg Meise's "First Impression" CD. Pete Falico, KUSP, Santa Cruz says on "First Impressions" Millie's breathy voice sensually reaches into lyrics and pulls out new things from old, familiar words". She has appeared on the late Charles Earland's Jazz Cruise series, local Jazz, Blues and Spirit Festivals and is a regular with Greg Meise at the Eureka Springs Arkansas Jazz and Blues Festivals. Kirby Ham / DJ Kirby

DJ Kirby is a nationally known DJ and entertainer. You can continually hear DJ Kirby's mixing skills over the air waves of local Kansas City radio stations or hear him across the U.S. on XM satilite radio. His experience outweighs any competition. DJ Kirby has worked with a number of nationwide events that include DJing a charity golf tournament for Justin Timberlake all the way to being the DJ for the Major League Baseball's All Star Game two years in a row. He is a master when it comes to throwing any party. DJ Kirby's Video Mix Show is a state of the art party experience that has led him recently to travel the globe. Vegas, Puerto Rico, Scottsdale, Chicago, Washington D.C. and Kansas City's Jazzoo 2010 are just a few of the places Kirby will perform his unmatched video mixing talent with in the next few months.
